Mini Catalog: Scene in a Garden

Okay, so remember last week, when I was talking about the sketch challenge at splitcoast stampers?  And then I realized that I couldn’t show you the card I made since it used a stamp set from the new mini catalog?

Well, here it is:

I had the image colored and ready to use, and then I stumbled across the sketch challenge and found this perfect layout and color set.  I am so excited to finally be able to show it to you!

I stamped the image in brown Staz-On ink on watercolor paper.  I colored the image with SU! markers and an aquapainter.  The image is mounted on Ruby Red cardstock.  The diamond shape behind is Chocolate Chip mounted on Creamy Caramel.  The DSP is retired paper from the “Weathered” pack.  The eyelets are brushed gold finish.  The card base is Not Quite Navy.

I was so excited at how this turned out!  I love this set – there are several other images to use, so keep your eyes peeled for upcoming samples!
