Hedgehog Thank Yous

Here are a couple of thank you cards I made for my sister this past week.  She was home for Christmas break from graduate school.  It was a lot of fun having her around for a while.  We got to talk and stamp and lots of fun things.

So, anyway…she needed a few thank you cards so I pulled out these hedgies.  They’re some of my favorites, so they are still hanging around even though they’re retired.

I’m finding myself stamping things more for fun than for classes, so I’ve been inking up some of my favorite stamps.  I sometimes forget why I joined Stampin’ Up! ® and as soon as I get some time to sit down and stamp for me (or in this case, my sister)  I remember how much fun it is.

Sit down and enjoy yourself some stamping time today!

  1. Love the corners on the second card–how did you do it?

  2. Thanks, Debbie! I scored a piece of cardstock so that the image would fit in the middle. Then I scored two more borders around the outside. I used my craft knife and cut out the center square on each corner. Then I cut out the pieces that were caddy-cornered to the center square.

I was going for a quilt-square look. :) I hope that makes sense. It’s kinda hard to explain in writing. :)
