(Just as a small update, our furnace quit working this weekend and finally this morning we were able to have a new thermostat installed.  It was like it took on a mind of its own and wouldn’t pay any attention to whether or not we told it to heat the house.  As if that wasn’t enough fun, our bathtub got a very large crack in it last week and we’ve had repairmen here removing the old and installing the new tub & surround.  I’m very excited to be able to shower now!)  Anyway…enough of the excuses and back to the stamping!

Here’s a card I made for my hubby.  The greeting uses a stamp set from Wal-Mart (sorry, it’s not SU), but the only other stamp I used was the Sanded background stamp.  Otherwise it’s Kraft, Riding Hood Red and Tangerine Tango card stock, sponged with Riding Hood Red and Tangerine Tango ink.  This is not a color combination I would pick for myself, but when DH and I were engaged and planning the wedding, he wanted our wedding colors to be maroon and orange.  (yeah, he didn’t win that one)

So, in rememberance of that, I chose the Riding Hood Red and Tangerine Tango to make him this card.   Just a fun little “I Love You” card for him.
