Okay, here’s where I’m at with the paper cake project. I’ve finished all three layers of slices. Here’s the top two layers done:

Now, the problem I’m having is whether or not to add a topper on the cake, and if I do, what should it be?
Please post any ideas you have for cake toppers. I need some brainstorming to get me going!
Maybe one of those 3D stars?

I’m picturing a cute little black bear wearing a brightly coloured scarf or some other sort of woodland critter… Maybe holding a beautifully wrapped gift or ornament?
How about a pile of little presents?
