I need your help! (will bribe with stamps)

Okay, I need some help from you all.  I have volunteered to create a place setting for a Holiday Open House/Silent Auction for my local chamber of commerce.  What I need your help with is ideas for what to include in the place setting.  Here’s what I have so far:

**  I’m planning to use the color scheme from the new Ski Slope DS Paper:  Real Red, Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip & Whisper White.

**  I have a round table with four chairs (so it’s a 4 person set).

**  I am going to make a paper cake.

Otherwise, I need your help.  So, in order to encourage participation, I will be offering a brand new un-mounted stamp set of “Love Ya Bunches” (retired 2007).

How do you win this great free set?  Well, everyone who leaves a comment/reply on this post with a link to an idea or image that I can use for inspiration for my table setting will be entered into a drawing to win this stamp set.   (As an additional bonus, you can earn more entries in the drawing by asking your friends to submit an idea and include YOUR name as a referral.)

The inspiration can be a tutorial on a stamping project you found or tried, a picture from a catalog with similar colors, a card sample with a unique technique or anything else you can come up with.

Have fun!

  1. Wouldn’t this set from Anthropologie be cute? And it matches so well! This is my first time leaving a comment, so if the link doesn’t work – sorry.

  2. The Ski Slope DSP is so beautiful! It reminds me of the childrens books by Jan Brett..Lots of inspiration there. She is a fantastic author/illustrator.

  3. Another thought…I’ve seen lots of pouches/doorknob hangers…I was thinking you could make a pocket pouch to hold the silverware, add a delicious ribbon bow and stamped napkin.
OR…Your punched angel in silver on a napkin ring made with the blue swirly DSP.
