Boatload Bliss

I’ve finally gotten around to getting a new card posted for you. My stamping table has been covered with laundry to be put away and I finally unearthed it yesterday.

This card was for a chat & challenge on SUDSOL*. I used Close to Cocoa for the card base and cut it to 5.25″x5.25″. Then I stamped the boat from Boatloads of Love in Purely Pomegranate ink on Pretty in Pink cardstock. I stamped the boat a second time on some of the Berry Bliss designer series paper. Then I used my craft knife (which is on special this month) to cut out portions of the boat. Next, I used the pile of hearts stamp from Loads of Love; stamped in Close to Cocoa on Purely Pomegranate cardstock. I trimmed that with my craft knife as well. I matted the boat image on Close to Cocoa, and some coordinating DS paper is matted on Pretty in Pink. To make the circles, I used the Round tab punch twice from Pretty in Pink, the 1 3/8″ circle punch from whisper white and the 3/4″ circle punch from Close to Cocoa. I added a random brad from my collection in the center. Sorry, I don’t remember where it came from. I used dimensionals to attach everything to the card base. Finally, I took the guide off of my corner rounder punch to create the scalloped edge along the bottom of the card.
