Girls don’t play football…

Well, yesterday we had our church league fantasy football draft. And I realize that most of you aren’t interested in football, so I’ll keep it short. But, somehow, I managed to pick Adrian Peterson as my #1 pick when I drafted 7th of 8 people. Anyway…I have some good starters, but I’ll have to build my bench up.

Okay, back to stamping now. I decided that I had too much testosterone exposure yesterday as one of only a few women in a room full of 30 men talking about football. So, I decided to whip up this football card, just for fun.

I used Orchid Opulence as the card base, which is 4 inches X 8 inches. The next layer is Pixie Pink that I swiped with my Whisper White craft (pigment) ink pad. The little girl is from “All in the Family” and the football is from “Family Accessories”. She is stamped in Basic Black on Whisper White, colored with Stampin’ Write ® markers and mounted on Green Galore cardstock. The ribbon is the white narrow grosgrain ribbon. The “I *heart* football” sentiment takes the “i” from the “Short Order Alpha”, the heart from “Boatloads of Love” and the same little football from “Family Accessories”.

I thought it came out very cute and had just enough girly without overdoing it.

Well, that’s all for today: I’m working a tutorial though, using the new in colors Baja Breeze & Pink Pirouette with scallop edge punch. Keep checking back for that!

Happy Stamping!
