Big & Little Pieces

This is one of my most recent cards. It was inspired by someone on SCS, but I can’t get into my favorites to link to it. (I’ll try to post that later.) I used Soft Sky for the card base and cut a River Rock strip and a Chocolate Chip strip. Then stamped the Big Pieces stamp in Rose Red and punched it out with the 1 3/8″ circle punch. I stamped the Little Pieces in Soft Sky & Chocolate Chip and punched them out with the 1/2″ circle punch. One scallop punched in Rose Red and everything got adhered together. Finally the sentiment is from a retired hostess set called “Small Script”. (if you don’t have Small Script, you could use Warm Words instead).

I think I like how this turned out. I’m still not quite sure about the River Rock on top, but I’m okay with it.

  1. I love the simplicity of this layout! I don’t have big/little pieces, but I do have the big/little flower sets that are similar to them so I’m going to have to CASE this for sure!

I found your blog because of a recent comment you made on SCL, on the post about being afraid to use your gifts. When you mentioned rubber stamping I knew I just HAD to come check out your site! I am a demo for SU but am letting it drop because I just don’t have time for it right now. I still love to stamp and will continue doing that, and I will for sure bookmark your site for future stamping inspiration.

Best wishes to you as you pursue your passion!
