The joys of updating

Wow.  I’ve been trying for two days to update my blogging software (wordpress.org) and it’s been a huge pain!
The kicker???  All I had to do was clear my cookies in my browser after I updated.    Grrrrrr.
Anyway…I’m finally back inside my blog!!!  So I’ll be posting stuff up again soon!
Happy New Year!!!!

Baby Onesie card

I’m making some invitations to a baby shower for a friend and I was trying out some different things.  Here’s one of my creations.

I’m not really crazy about the colors, I think I’m going to try a white one with blue trim and see if that turns out better.
These cards are a lot [...]

A quick & easy ornament

Here’s a quick little Christmas ornament you could do with your kids or grandkids while they’re visiting.

It’s super easy because it’s all folding – there’s no glue or mess involved.  It wasn’t my idea, so I’ll just link you to the tutorial.  I used strips of paper that start as 2 inches by 4 inches.  [...]

Merry Christmas!!!

I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful Christmas.  May you all have good times of fun & laughter with your families.  Enjoy the each other and celebrate Christ’s birth together.  May God bless you all this Christmas and throughout the coming year.

Happy Christmas!
And just for fun:

Chat & Challenge Creation

Hey, there!  I know I’ve mentioned it before but I host a chat at least once per month for SUDSOL.  I find a card sketch and present it to the other chatters and we all stamp a card using the sketch for inspiration.  Well, after completely spacing off on Monday night, I rescheduled it for [...]

Oh, my, goodness!!! So many things that “have” to be done!

I’m getting too old for this!  I can’t believe how much there is to do between Thanksgiving and Christmas!  I love Christmas time and visiting with my family, but it seems like I’m always running around trying to get something done.  My poor stamping desk has got to be feeling so lonely!!!
This year there [...]

You Rock

(Just as a small update, our furnace quit working this weekend and finally this morning we were able to have a new thermostat installed.  It was like it took on a mind of its own and wouldn’t pay any attention to whether or not we told it to heat the house.  As if that wasn’t [...]

Paper Snowflake

This is a fun little project and a great way to show off some of your favorite designer series paper.  For this snowflake, I used Ski Slope DSP.

The supplies I used are Ski Slope paper, Scissors, Bone folder, Mini Glue dots, 1 eyelet, 1 brad & some ribbon.  You can get two of these snowflakes [...]

Gingerbread House

Hello, hello.  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend.

Today’s project is an altered version of the card house available in the Punch Pals Online Class.  I used Creamy Caramel for the entire structure and decorated it to mimic a gingerbread house.  I was inspired by the gingerbread house my mother-in-law made with my [...]
