Hand-made Holiday Table

Some of you have been following me through this adventure for a while now.  It started back a while ago with me bribing you for ideas.  Then we moved on through the process of making a paper cake.  And the last part was the creation & assembly of the flatware and table details.  Now, I [...]

Jewelry Boxes

My last gifts were personalized jewelry boxes.  I always have a hard time with gifts for my husband’s siblings – he has 4 sisters and I just run out of female gift ideas.  So, here’s what I came up with:

And the inside mirror has rub-ons added:

Here’s the second one:

And the second mirror:

Again a lot of [...]

Altered Clipboard

Here is another gift item I made for this Christmas.  I bought a 97 cent clipboard at wal-mart and covered it, embellished it & sealed it.  Most of the items I used are non-SU and I apologize.  You could do the same thing using our SU projects, but I really enjoy personalizing the gift to [...]

Card Purse

Wow.  This has been a crazy weekend!  My husband’s family was here for Thanksgiving & Christmas festivities, so all day Friday & Saturday my house was full of people, food, and presents.  And now that I’ve had a day to breathe again, all I’m left with is a giant mess to clean up.  But, such [...]

Tiny Treat Box

Hey, there!  Today’s project is another 3D item.  It’s a tiny little treat box made from the Ski Slope DSP and some acetate.

Here’s another view:

This was super quick & easy to make!  The box bottom measures 3″ x 4.25″.  Then I scored at 7/8″ on all sides.  Next, cut the tabs in from the short [...]

Minnie Christmas Ornament

Okay, finally, I have a chance to post something!  I’m actually proud of this one because it doesn’t use any stamping and started out as a clear glass Christmas ornament.

I took some black craft ink and squeezed it inside the ornament and rolled it around and around and around to coat the inside with ink.  [...]
