Watercolored Beach

This card was inspired by a Chat & Challenge that I participated in on SUDSOL.  A Chat & Challenge is a scheduled time SUDSOL members can get together to participate in a card challenge – usually a sketch.  This time was no exception!  Here is the sketch that was used:  (from http://gotsketch.blogspot.com)

I was super excited [...]

Color Inspiration Challenge

I’ve been watching these color challenges for a while, but never managed to find the reveal in time to get an entry posted.  So, finally I am on time for this challenge!

I used Chocolate Chip for my card base and punched out three flowers with my 3 For You punch.  One flower each in Pumpkin [...]

Holiday Mini Scavenger Hunt!

First off, I want to apologize for not having a new project to show you.  I will post a new project on Wednesday using brand new Holiday Mini supplies.
In the mean time, I thought I would share the experience of sorting through my stamping desk with you.  I’m cleaning and sorting and putting away everything [...]

Masculine Get Well Card

Today’s card is a one I made for a Chat & Challenge on SUDSOL, but once I got going with it, I realized it would make the perfect card for a man in our church who is getting taken to the university hospital to be checked for heart problems.  He was admitted here to the [...]

Movin’ and Groovin’ “Just Moved” Card

This card may look harmless, but it’s really a super duper card with magical powers.
The card base is your ordinary Chocolate Chip and the Neighborhood wheel is stamped on Baja Breeze.  The scalloped “grass” is Kiwi Kiss punched with the scallop edge punch.  The colored house was stamped in Staz-on Timber Brown on Whisper White [...]

We all scream for ice cream!

So, Andrea Walford does this challenge called Makeover Monday. What you do is take a card or project that someone else has created and re-create it using all Stampin’ Up!® products. I found this card by Debbie at Thinking Inking and I’ve re-made it using all SU! Here you go:

The background is [...]

Cruisin’ Topless

I saw this convertible idea several places and I didn’t really get into it until I noticed the little puppies with their ears waving in the breeze. And it’s been raining the last couple of days so it would be lots of fun to go for a ride in a convertible in the sunshine.
I [...]

Don’t Rock the Boat Baby!

My Loads of Love challenge card #4 is here! This is a tilt card using the Boatloads of Love set.
For a detailed description of how to assemble a tilt card, go here for a tutorial. I’m going to do a condensed version.
The first thing you need to do is pick an [...]

Loads of Love #3

I apologize for being gone all weekend, my grandfather had triple bypass on Friday morning. Thankfully he’s doing very well and will probably get to be home tonight. I did get to see my sister this weekend so that was nice – we spent a little time stamping and here is a card [...]

Loads of Love #2

All right, my second card in the Loads of Love Challenge. This time I used Boatloads of Love, but kept the same colors & same general layout as card #1.

Again, I stamped the background with the Sanded background stamp, but I’m not sure I like it. It seemed okay with the little truck, [...]
